The eponymous exhibit – "Ankama: de l’esquisse à l’épopée" – will run from June 19, 2026, to January 31, 2027, at the Cité Internationale du Cinéma d'Animation at Haras Park in Annecy, France.

In addition to inaugurating this wonderful site, this exhibit was also the origin of this marvelous 160-page catalog that takes readers along on Ankama's journey, from the DOFUS game to the animated series WAKFU and then to the WAVEN project. Immerse yourself in 25 years of passion for the Krosmoz and the Ankamaverse!

Presentations from animation specialists and interviews with historic figures from Ankama complete this illustrated book containing over 230 documents, including never-before-seen concept art and sketches.

THE AUTHOR

Antoine Rigaud is the curator of the exhibit "Ankama: de l’esquisse à l’épopée". After studying at the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon, he defended his thesis in film studies on the technical, aesthetic and historical relationships between animated films and videos games at the Université Paris-Nanterre.
